Ahou Mofid is a Los Angeles based hair stylist. She comes from a long line of performers, which gives her a vast understanding of theater, film, television and print. Her passion for hair began while she was earning her degree in Theater Arts; the art of transformation, hairstyles from different eras, and a variety of wigs inspired her to seek out a future in the beauty industry. She honed her craft of cutting and coloring at Paul Mitchell the School alongside some of the industry’s top educators. Subsequently, she combined her interests and today her work can be seen on film, in television and session styling. Being involved in all aspects of the industry she understands the nature of the business which makes her an asset on any set. Currently, she works in one of the industry’s most prolific salons in Studio City and has a variety of celebrity clientele. A firm believer in continuing education she has earned many advanced certifications and is an educator for Kevin Murphy. Her specialties include keratin treatments (Brazilian blowouts), extensions, color corrections, and styling.
